Who it is for
Companies and individuals who send or receive international bank transfers, and who need to know what has happened to a payment that has not arrived yet.
What it does
- Checks the status of an international transfer by its UETR, the unique reference attached to a SWIFT payment.
- Brings together what several banks have reported about the payment in one timeline, so there is no need to check each bank separately.
- Explains each bank status code in plain English.
- Keeps checking while the transfer is in progress, and sends an email when it reaches a new stage.
What it does not do
- It does not hold, move, send or receive money.
- It never asks for online banking passwords or access to a bank account.
- It cannot cancel, release, speed up or change a transfer. Only the sending bank can do that.
- It does not give financial, legal or tax advice, and it is not affiliated with SWIFT or with any bank.
